Shamandu started to grow in my heart with the arrival of my first birman, Neptuno. Thanks to his adorable character I fell in love with the birmans and the felines too. Finally mid 2000 my dream of Shamandu and breeding this beautiful soul mates became true. Shamandu is based on imported blood lines in order to open up the gene pool of the breed in Argentina. The fundamental purpose of Shamandu is to improve its own breeding cats and share the joy of loveable and affectionate little birmans. Shamandu is a personal hobby and our cats are not caged and they are considered our pets and family members. Shamandu is an A.F.A (FIFe) registered cattery as well as all its cats.
